So here's my post on my Bangkok Trips in Dec'13 & Apr'14.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
Then we were fetched from the airport to the hotel to check in - Novetel Platinum
The location is just right beside Platinum mall, so you know what that means...
Shopping... Shopping and just more shopping!!
And then we went to MBK, which I wouldn't really suggest if you all are looking forward to shopping. That place has more souvenirs and the clothes there are not extremely cheap.

Though, Good dessert at MBK's Foodcourt |

And of course, THE UTLIMATE DESERT:- Mango Sticky Rice (You can never ever miss this out if your in Thailand) |
This fish is really, the BOMB.
This is one of the best handmade salted fish that is grilled on the spot and served to you. I highly recommend this and the Superb Tanghoon. Apologies if I didn't snap a pict of the best Tanghoon ever. Youwill not regret it. It's one of the roadside stores near our hotel.
And then on Day 3 in BKK, I met JJ and JED.
I met JJ outside Platinum Mall and we chilled at Coldstone because the weather was super 'shiok' (slang: refreshing, enjoyable) and we were tired from shopping (ok, maybe just me)
Sorry if I look horrible overseas, I don't really bother to dress up because I won't be seeing the ppl there who judge me, anymore, so no Effs given ;)
Hahaha. I told Jay he looked ugly, so he put on his glasses and asked,"what about now?"
My reply "still ugly"
Moral of the Story, don't ask me for opinions 😂😂😂 HAHAHAHAHAH.
Then I met JED at the Hotel Lobby lounge and we chilled for abit.
He stayed at the same hotel as me.

GDI. Jed please stop acting cute. OMG. |

Plane Tickets, Lets GO GO GO!!~~ |
Then we arrived in Bangkok and checked-in to our Hotel.
My mum read the reviews of the place and figured it was okay to try a new place, since the hotel is still new and all.
And I highly recommend any of you, if you want a budget, but still personalized hotel,
you should go to Glow Pratunam.
Glow Pratunam
At our first restaurant on the 1st day in BKK,
We had dinner at the Famous Ban Khun Mae Restaurant the following night.
(Food is quite pricey as only tourists go there, mostly Singaporeans as well.)

Some "try-too-hard" artsy shots
And I highly recommend you all to go to this place,
if you have yet to taste mangoes as sweet as honey x milk.

They have different outlets in Bangkok, as well as Tokyo
(but I have yet to tried the Tokyo one) and the one I went to is at Siam Square.
Here's what we ordered:
And their lights are somehow 'made' of mango. Idek. How can anyone resist this place.
It has like the best food, best ambience and best decos.
(Also, it's air conditioned, but there always seems to be a queue
; which means they are super popular)
Moving on, we went to Chatuchak and other places.
And we even ate 'Moo' (not the cow of course silly, it's like roasted pork, the kind we eat at typical chinese/Asian restaurants.
Then came shopping heaven....
Platinum Mall
Once I got there, I dived straight in. Sorry I don't have any pictures of my loots because I was too tired to even take them.
But here's a great tasty tip, buy the Crepes that are downstairs the Platinum Mall, on level 1, before going to shop. The store is located next to UOB Money Changer.
The Crepes are the bomb, even though they might not look like it exactly, but they taste SOO good and only cost less than a 100baht ($4SGD), compared to Singapore, where Crepes are like luxury- $6++?!??!!??WTF
My Nutella and Fresh Sliced Banannas Crepes - 60baht (this is more expensive than the rest because Nutellla is expensive as it's an imported good aka not from Bangkok)
And when in Bangkok, or any part of Thailand, you can never miss the Famous Pad Thai, no matter anywhere or every where you go. #SoMuchPadThaiLove
Also, how can you miss the massage there which is so good and cheap. TSK.
This is the session that's the most expensive because it was on our last night in Bangkok and we could only have the massage at the hotel. Still, not a bad rate,1hr- 300baht ($12SGD)
Great ambience btw!
And that's all for my Bangkok trip -just shopping, eating and massage
(that explains why I gained like 3kg FML)
Seeyou again soon! And take care~
**PS/:Oh and I washed my hair at a nearby Salon.
Tip for anybody who wants to have 'better' service, don't go when the shops are about to close.
Bye!!!
-Xoxo-
